
Every two years, The Forbes Funds publishes Community Threads as its way of celebrating the contributions of the nonprofit sector in the Southwest Pennsylvania region. Intended for use by a broad range of nonprofit executives, community leaders and public officials, it is a practical, information-rich management tool that:
The stories presented in Community Threads are intentionally anecdotal, not statistical. They are stories about people (and the organizations they represent) who have made a commitment to excellence. They are also about the lessons these individuals and organizations have learned. We hope you will be inspired by their stories, be informed by the resources and become better acquainted with local nonprofits.
